Hey there! Welcome to MyFinHealth, your go-to platform for uploading South African bank statement PDFs to get a financial health score(0-100) and report. These Terms of Service ("Terms") explain the rules for using our website, apps, and services (collectively, our "Service"). By using MyFinHealth, you agree to follow these Terms. If you're not on board, please don't use the Service.
1. Who Can Use MyFinHealth?
You need to be at least 18 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms to use our Service. By signing up or using MyFinHealth, you're confirming you meet these requirements.
2. Signing Up
To use certain features, you'll need to create an account. Please provide accurate info for payments (like your billing details) and keep it updated. You're responsible for keeping your account password safe and for anything that happens under your account.
3. How You Can Use Our Service

What You Can't Do:
Please don't:
- Upload files with viruses or harmful stuff.
- Use MyFinHealth for anything illegal or against laws like POPIA or GDPR.
- Try to hack, disrupt, or mess with our Service.
- Share or post reports from MyFinHealth without our okay.
4. Uploading and Processing Your PDFs
When you upload your bank statement PDFs, we process them to extract transaction details and create your financial health report. A few key points:
- Your Data: You own the PDFs and data you upload. By uploading, you give us permission to process and store your data to provide the Service.
- Accuracy Disclaimer: Our process for extracting transactions from PDFs isn't 100% guaranteed to be perfect. We do our best, but there might be occasional errors in the data we pull.
- Data Storage: We keep your uploaded PDFs for 30 days, then delete them. Extracted data (like transaction details) is stored until you close your account or ask us to delete it, unless we're required to keep it by law.
- Security: We use strong encryption and security measures to protect your data, following POPIA and GDPR rules.
5. Payments
We use PayStack to handle payments. You agree to pay the fees shown on our pricing page. Refunds, if applicable, follow our refund policy.
6. Not Financial Advice
MyFinHealth provides financial health scores and reports to help you understand your finances, but we are not financial advisors. Our Service is for informational purposes only, and you should consult a professional for financial advice.
7. Our Intellectual Property
Everything on MyFinHealth—like our website, apps, and tech (except your uploaded data)—belongs to or is licensed by MyFinHealth. Please don't copy, modify, or share any part of our Service without our written permission.
8. Your Privacy
We take your privacy seriously. Check out our Privacy Policy to see how we collect, use, and protect your info, following POPIA, GDPR, and other laws.
9. Ending Your Account
- Your Choice: You can close your account anytime by contacting support or using account settings.
- Our Choice: We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, do something fraudulent, or for other reasons, with notice if possible.
- When your account ends, we'll delete your data per our storage policy (30 days for PDFs, extracted data until you request deletion), unless the law says otherwise.
10. Our Responsibility
We provide MyFinHealth "as is." To the extent allowed by law, we're not responsible for indirect losses, like financial issues or data loss, from using our Service. We can't guarantee the Service will always be perfect or error-free.
11. Your Responsibility
You agree to cover any losses or claims we face if you misuse the Service or break these Terms.

These Terms follow South African laws. If we have a disagreement, it'll be handled in South African courts.
